编前记:在度过了愉快的周末之后,相信各位读者朋友又迎来了忙碌的工作周,考虑到大家休息与工作时间的合理衔接,政观今天奉上了我国台湾大学政治学系学者推荐的比较政治学的书单。众所周知,以台湾大学政治学系组成的东亚民主研究中心主持了在业内颇有名气的亚洲民主动态调查(Asian Barometer Survey),是海内外比较政治学研究的重镇。

导言:比较政治是政治学研究中一个非常重要的次领域,按照Munck2007)的整理分析,比较政治的研究一共经历四次重大的变革,分别是:比较政府或宪法阶段(1880-1920)、行为主义阶段(1921-1966)、后行为主义阶段(1967-1988)、第二次科学革命阶段(1989-迄今)。各阶段在研究主题的选择、理论建构的策略,以及研究方法的运用上都有很大的差异。又如Munck and Snyder2007)两人针对比较政治里三个最主要的期刊,亦即World Politics, Comparative Politics, Comparative Political Studies作分析,归纳出在比较政治领域里,目前并没有存在一个具有主导性地位的研究典范,反而是多种研究议题、解释理论与研究方法并存的现象。因此,本课程将先从比较政治理论的发展趋势出发,接着谈及比较政治的研究方法。随后,将挑选一些热门的研究主题,并介绍不同学者针对这些研究主题的争议与看法。修读此课程,希望同学能建立对比较政治理论有更清楚的认知与理解,培养未来研究比较政治领域的兴趣。
